Forever

In Paris,  France, the world-renowned  cemetery Pere-Lachaise, is the burial
site for many world-famous people in the  world of culture, writers,
composers, performers, painters and other artists,  from different historical
periods.
If one visits this cemetery, the guest can find the graves of such people  as
Frederic Chopin, Marcel Proust, Guillaume Apollinaire, Modigliani, Oscar
Wilde, Jean-Auguste Ingres, Maria Callas, Georges Melies, Jim Morrison, Yves
Montand and Simone Signoret, to name a few.  Forever is a documentary by Heddy
Honigmann that introduces us to the people who come for many reasons to this
beautiful setting.   Some arrive to pay tribute to someone  they admired; some
come to bring flowers or leave personal messages on the  graves while others
may be relatives who come to seek solace and tend to the  upkeep of the site.
Many people  find the serene and calming surroundings a place of refuge to
relax, and  perhaps, to be inspired.  Some of  the interesting people in the
film relate their reasons for visiting certain  grave sites, all the while
presenting some of the music and artistry of the  celebrities to whom they are
paying tribute.
