Armed with two suitcases, $300, and a dream, MR Hunter moved from Texas to NYC and began working extensively in theatre as an AEA performer, director and playwright. Besides theatre, MR Hunter spent time ducking between Warhol’s and Lichtenstein’s as a Group Visits Manager at The Museum of Modern Art.
After relocating to Los Angeles, MR Hunter received a BA in English with an emphasis in Writing and double minors in Philosophy and Theatre History and Criticism from California State University in Northridge and spearheaded an on campus organization S.P.I.T. (Student Playwrights for Innovative Theatre), and was published in the school’s literary magazine The Northridge Review.
MR Hunter has contributed children’s stories to DVD boxed sets and various articles and reviews to online magazine LA’s the Place.com and has conducted numerous interviews including Tae Bo instructor Billy Blanks, actress/director Ursula Burton of “The Office” and acclaimed novelist Richard Matheson. MR Hunter lives in Studio City with a pet rat, Remy.
